AmeriBid, a new platform that aims to help institutional investors find profitable and efficient exit strategies, has named Fran Weichsel, a former sales manager with Fannie Mae’s
National Property Disposition Center (NPDC) to the newly-created position of vice president.
Weichsel brings extensive experience in property disposition to her new role after overseeing 25,000 properties under the umbrella of NPDC.
Prior to joining AmeriBid, Weichsel’s role at Fannie Mae required her to work directly with Fannie’s eBusiness Division in an effort to create attractive opportunities for potential home buyers.
At AmeriBid, Weichsel will continue to use her skills to steer partner relationships, build new business and oversee the disposition of assets for institutional investors.
“We are excited to have Fran join our company,” said Larry Latham, chief executive officer of AmeriBid. “With her experience in the disposition of foreclosure properties and auctions, she will be a valuable asset in helping to meet the goals of our clients and investors.”
