Auction Division of LPS to Sell Portfolio of Foreclosed Homes

Lender Processing Services, Inc. (LPS), a Jacksonville, Florida-based provider of integrated technology and services to the mortgage and real estate industries, recently announced that its LPS Auction Solutions division will conduct an online auction of foreclosed properties in Arizona, California, and Nevada.

The varied portfolio of foreclosures includes single-family homes, condominiums, town homes, and a duplex. All homes to be auctioned in Arizona are located in Phoenix, and the properties in California are located in Bakersfield, Fresno, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, and San Luis Obispo. The Nevada foreclosures up for auction are located in Las Vegas and Reno.

Bids must be placed by April 1, 2010 via the LPS Auction Solutions Web site. However, interested buyers are encouraged to bid early because sellers have the ability to accept offers prior to the bid deadline. Winning bidders will be required to sign a purchase contract and must submit an earnest money deposit.

“This auction is a terrific opportunity for homebuyers and investors to purchase one or more residential properties at a significant discount,” said Evan Gladstone, managing director of LPS Auction Solutions. “There are some wonderful deals for interested buyers.”
