Founder of Citadel Capital Advisors Joins Deutsche Bank

Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc., a global investment banking firm with regional headquarters in New York, announced Friday that it has named Steve Abrahams as

managing director and head of securitization and mortgage-backed securities research within the firm’s global markets division.

Abrahams joins Deutsche Bank with almost 20 years’ experience in securitization research and portfolio management. He was most recently the founder and managing director at Citadel Capital Advisors, and prior to that, he was the global head of liquid product strategy at Bear Stearns. In addition, he was previously a credit portfolio manager at Freddie Mac and a senior analyst at Morgan Stanley.

“Steve is a very well-known and respected securitization expert and we are thrilled to add him to our U.S. team,” said Michele Faissola, managing director and global head of rates. “He is an industry veteran who has watched the securitization markets grow and evolve through several market cycles. This first-hand knowledge will further develop our market research and greatly benefit our institutional clients globally.”
