EMC Mortgage Corp. Names SVP of Asset Liquidation

Lewisville, Texas-based EMC Mortgage Corp., a subsidiary of The Bear Stearns Companies Inc. and a mortgage banking company specializing in residential mortgage loan servicing, has promoted Chris Alcedo to the position of senior vice president of Asset Liquidation in the Customer Relations Division.
In his role, Alcedo manages 65 employees while also providing oversight for the companies Real Estate Owned activities, as well as marketing objectives related to assets EMC has acquired through foreclosures and deeds in lieu.
“Chris has been an important member of the EMC Mortgage family for a long time,” said John Vella, president and chief executive officer of EMC Mortgage Corp. “His extensive expertise in the area of REO will allow his team to continue to successfully manage and market our assets, a critical area of our operation, especially in today’s marketplace environment.”
