Santa Ana, California-based First American Title Insurance Co., an arm of The First American Corp., has promoted William Homa to the position of vice president and director of commercial sales and services. In his new position, Homa will oversee business development and management of the company’s commercial operations in Pittsburgh.
Prior to joining First American Title, Homa served as an underwriter and manager at a joint-venture owned by Midland of Pennsylvania. He then transitioned into the role of underwriter for First American Title’s Pittsburgh operations and later into the position of senior commercial underwriter.
Homa graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
