Freedman Anselmo Lindberg Expands Practice with Two Attorneys

Freedman Anselmo Lindberg LLC, based out of Chicago, grew its default practice with the hiring of two associate attorneys—John A. Blatt and Nisha B. Parikh.

Blatt joins the firm with a specific focus in the area of mortgage foreclosures. He earned his law degree from The John Marshall Law School in 2010 and graduated with a certificate in trial advocacy. Blatt is licensed to practice in Illinois and in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Blatt is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.

Parikh focuses on the areas of mortgage foreclosure, bankruptcy, and creditors’ rights. She graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2009 and is licensed to practice in Illinois and in the United States District Court for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of Illinois. Parikh has experience as a debtor’s attorney for various consumer bankruptcy firms in the Chicago area and as a creditor’s attorney.

She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, Phi Alpha Delta, the Chicago Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees. She is also fluent in Gujarati.
