Gateway Mortgage Announces New Chief Credit and Compliance Officer

Gateway Mortgage Group announced the hiring of a new chief credit and compliance officer.

With more than 25 years of senior level management experience, Molly Reed Davis was appointed to the position and

will be responsible for overseeing all compliance policies and procedures and managing credit relationships for the company.

Prior to joining Gateway, Davis was the assistant VP of third party origination credit administration for MetLife Home Loans. Davis also served as SVP of credit policy and retail operations for CitiMortgage and held roles as a VP with Capstead Inc. and Countrywide Home Loans Inc.

“Regulatory compliance continues to be a top challenge for lenders and no growth plan is complete without significant care being taken in this area,” said Kevin Stitt, president of Gateway Mortgage Group. “Her extensive knowledge regarding risk management in both retail and correspondent lending will be of great value to Gateway as the company expands its market share in other lending divisions.”

Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Gateway Mortgage is a an end-to-end mortgage banking firm that offers conventional, FHA, VA, Section 184 and USDA loans through a network of branches across 25 states.
