Gerner & Kearns Appoints New Associate

Gerner & Kearns, Co., L.P.A. announced recently that Michael Lubes has been appointed as an associate in the firm’s Collections Practice Group.

Lubes has eight years of experience practicing in the areas of consumer collections, foreclosure, and creditors’ rights litigation. He will also be working as an associate in Gerner’s Michigan Default Practice Group, which is run out of the firm’s Cleveland, Ohio office. Before his admission to the Ohio bar, he clerked for the Warren County prosecutor’s office and served for over three years as a special agent for the FBI in Dallas, Texas.

“We are pleased to continue our expansion into Michigan as well as our Collections Practice by adding Michael to our team,” said David E. Gerner, Esq., the firm’s managing partner.

Gerner & Kearns, Co., L.P.A. is a creditors’ rights law firm that was founded in 1987 and has offices in Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. The firm’s practice areas include foreclosure, bankruptcy, evictions, origination and REO closings, loss mitigation, and commercial litigation.
