Julie Baird Named “Top 20 under 40”

During the 2009 CREW Network Convention and Marketplace held in Boston, Julie Baird of First American Exchange Company, LLC, received the “Top 20 under 40” award.
Presented by the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network, this award honors the top 20 women in commercial real estate. Based on established success in the field, commitment to the industry, and demonstrated leadership, recipients were selected from 120 nominees across North America.

Baird serves as national counsel for First American Exchange, headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, a member of The First American Corporation family of companies.

She currently oversees the Northern California reverse exchange department, and before joining First American in 2006, she was in private practice in San Francisco.

“I feel very honored and humbled to be recognized along with such an impressive group of women,” Baird said after accepting her award. “I am proud to work for a company and with people who support my career, give me the ability to grow and make decisions and also provide the resources to help me along the way.

The CREW Network is one of those resources, and I am very fortunate to work with professionals associated with CREW on a regular basis.”

With a mission to advance the success of women in commercial real estate, the CREW Network aims to bring more women into the industry, showcase member successes, and serve as a key resource to its members and the industry. Comprised of more than 8,000 commercial real estate professionals in 67 chapters across North America, CREW represents all disciplines of commercial real estate.
