Richmond, Virginia-based LandAmerica Financial Group, a company dedicated to real estate transaction services, said Tuesday that B. Shannon Cobb has been promoted to the position of group senior vice president of product services.

Cobb, who has more than 17 years of experience, will be responsible for title production operations.
Prior to his promotion, Cobb was already serving LandAmerica as a senior vice president of production resources for the Northeast, Southeast and Southwest. He also served as vice president of LandAmerica’s OneStop® subsidiary.
“Shannon is a leader in production workflow innovation, the implementation of automated solutions and outsourcing initiatives that increase capacity and efficiency,” said Richard Gonzalez, executive vice president and chief information officer. “His leadership plays a key role in helping us support LandAmerica employees as they deliver superior service to our customers across the country and beyond.”
