LenderLive Network Names Tanenbaum SVP of Technology

LenderLive Network Inc., a company that provides business process outsourcing and technology to the financial industry, has appointed Mitch Tanenbaum as SVP of technology, where he will be responsible for overall software development, data center operations, and information security. Tanenbaum has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate, financial services, consulting, and telecommunication industries, in addition to expertise in defense systems and application service providers.
“Mitch has the ability to work across disciplines and bring together the management team, user communities and technology professionals to create solutions that meld LenderLive’s business, financial and technological needs,” said Rick Seehausen, president of LenderLive. “Technology is critical to LenderLive’s success. Adding Mitch to our team will improve our ability to offer timely enhancements to our current solutions and become even more technologically savvy while strengthening our entire business model as he can provide strategic direction and oversight for future product development.”

In his position, Tanenbaum will monitor the architecture, strategy and implementation of all software systems, as well as oversee the production and test environments for all internal and customer data management. He also will be responsible for ensuring the protection of all LenderLive customer information.
“LenderLive enables financial institutions to reduce costs by offering outsourcing services for mortgage loan originations and processing,” Tanenbaum said. “Technology is integral in shaping the capabilities and efficiencies of those processes, and LenderLive continues to be at the forefront of fulfilling these needs.”
Tanenbaum spent 12 years at Mercury Companies Inc. prior to joining LenderLive, most recently serving as chief technical officer. He provided technology guidance and advice to senior management and acted as senior technology strategist and architect. He also was chief information security officer for Mercury, where he worked with the company and its subsidiaries in all areas of security. His other work experience includes being owner and partner of a consulting firm that provided organizational development consulting, systems integration, and software development. Before that, he spent 15 years working for Texas Instruments Inc., during which he secured highly confidential data and provided computer defense systems for the U.S. government and military.
Tanenbaum is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association MISMO (Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization) working group. He also participates in FBI Infragard, a government/private sector partnership aimed at improving the security of information systems in the private sector.
Tanenbaum’s Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and Master of Engineering were both earned at Cornell University.
