Long & Foster Associate Appointed Chair of Commercial Alliance

Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc. announced Frank W. Dillow of its commercial division was selected as chair of the Realtor Commercial Alliance (RCA) of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR) for 2013.

NVAR’s RCA seeks to build partnerships between Realtors involved in commercial real estate and professionals in commercial leasing, development, and management. The alliance also brings together developers, lenders, local governments, and investors for networking sessions to discuss industry issues. Dillow also serves as a member of the Commercial Alliance Committee for the Virginia Association of Realtors.

Dillow is licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. He is also an adjunct fellow for the Discovery Institute’s technology and democracy project. His prior work experience includes 25 years of service with Verizon Corporation, where he served for more than 10 years as its VP of federal government relations.

“Frank’s extensive business knowledge and experience in negotiating complex agreements among major corporations, as well as federal and state governments, will bring great value and insight to the work of NVAR’s Commercial Alliance,” said Ken Ulsaker, EVP of Long & Foster’s commercial division.

Dillow pursued his bachelor’s degree and J.D. from Lewis and Clark in Portland. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.
