Mortgage Contracting Services (MCS) announced the promotion of Wade Petty and Marie Walters to VP of finance and controller/assistant VP, respectively.
Petty has been with MCS since 2009 and manages the company’s revenue cycle and accounts receivable, among other duties. He joined MCS after serving as regional controller and assistant treasurer at Stewart Title Guaranty Company.
“Wade has proven to be exceptionally valuable at using technology to efficiently manage, analyze, and report on our company’s revenues,” said MCSCEO Caroline Reaves. “Executives and managers across the company appreciate and rely on Wade’s responsiveness, accuracy, and innovation.”
Walters joined MCS as an accounting manager in 2007 and now leads the company’s general accounting and financial control functions, including financial statement reporting, maintenance of the accounting system, coordinating and managing annual financial audits, and oversight of the accounts payable and payroll functions.
“Marie has shown the capacity to handle complex financial projects while keeping our accounting books and records in impeccable condition,” Reaves said. “I am so pleased that we will continue to benefit from her expertise and wisdom in an even greater capacity than before.”
Petty and Walters will both work in MCS’ Tampa, Florida, office.
