Mortgage Contracting Services (MCS), a property preservation and inspection services provider headquartered in Tampa, Florida, has promoted John Maxwell to EVP of operations.

Since initially joining the company in August 2007 as VP of asset management, Maxwell has overseen the company’s Dallas, Texas operations for more than two years. In his new position, Maxwell assumes the responsibility for MCS operations in both the Dallas and Tampa offices, including vendor management.
Prior to
MCS, Maxwell was regional VP at First American National Default Outsourcing where he managed the client relationships and default operations for top mortgage servicers, administering thousands of foreclosure and bankruptcy cases. He engineered the start-up of six full service bankruptcy and foreclosure operations, participated in new business pursuits, and helped to improve client profitability.
With more than 30 years in the mortgage industry, Maxwell’s experience has included management roles in loan servicing, servicing acquisitions, default management and more.
