Howell Haunson of the Atlanta-based real estate closing law firm Morris|Hardwick|Schneider (M|H|S) was recently presented with the Partners in Education Instructor of the Year Award from the Georgia Associaiton of Realtors (GAR). This marks the second consecutive year that Haunson has received this award.

“Howell is a key contributor, and his relentless work ethic has greatly benefited our staff, attorneys, and real estate agents tremendously,” said Nat Hardwick, M|H|S managing partner. “The honor is very well-deserved.”
As director of education for M|H|S, Haunson teaches a variety of seminars on topics such as real estate contracts, fair housing practices, and mortgage fraud. He has been practicing real estate for more than 25 years and currently dedicates his entire practice to serving and educating the real estate community.
“I do my best to make sure my education classes are both lively and interesting to participants,” Haunson said. “I am fortunate to be able to do something that I enjoy and am passionate about, and I am grateful to M|H|S for the opportunity to share what I know with others in the real estate industry.”
Haunson has also served on the Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorneys Association Board of Directors and is actively involved in presenting lectures and seminars relating to real estate issues throughout the country.
The Partners in Education Instructor of the Year Award is given annually to the continuing education teacher with the highest average student evaluation score. In addition to receiving this award from GAR, Haunson was recently the recipient of the 2010 Educator of the Year Award from the Georgia Real Estate Educators Association.
