One former real estate agent believes he has created the “next big thing” for foreclosure agents. With technology playing an increasing role in real estate agent’s search for systems to help them work smarter and increase production, 27-year-old Thomas Moore decided to attack the issue head on.

Moore put his real estate license in inactive status to work on the creation of eBrokerHouse (EBH), which he described as “the most cutting edge, complete, and yet user friendly real estate management software that exists for agents and brokers that want to work more efficiently.” Allowing real estate professionals to work from anywhere, Moore claims his system is not only paperless but also the most affordable solution on the market.
Created as a Web-based program, the goal of EBH is to eliminate the need for separate software systems by allowing agents and brokers to manage their entire business including traditional, REO, and short sale properties, along with buyer and team member related issues through one system. Agents can access EBH anywhere with an Internet connection, giving them information and references on the go.
“The ability to manage all types of business is huge because most other management software systems outs there only allow you to manage one particular segment of your business and charge unreal amounts of money to do it,” Moore said. He also added that the site is encrypted and backed up on two Rack Space servers, ensuring the safety and security of agents’ information.
In order to create and implement the features real estate agents need, Moore is taking his system across the country to get direct feedback from current agents. EBH has been presented to audiences at REO industry training events, the Five Star Conference, and the NAR Mid Year Expo. Through his travels, Moore has received responses from hundreds of agents in hopes of ensuring his goal of making EBH “the best management system on the market.”
Each agent who signs up for a free trial is personally contacted by Moore or his brother, Trevor Moore. Agents are then walked through the demo for as long as needed and encouraged to give feedback. This feedback is then used to update and add features agents need. Moore believes it is this personal touch and customization that has allowed them to become a “force” in the industry in such a short period of time.
“Not any one agent runs their business the same. That is why we are focused on making this system able to be customized to meet the needs of any agent or broker out there no matter what kind of business they have,” Moore said. “It’s only a matter of time until agents hear about us and what we have to offer. What we are seeing is once they compare our features, service, and price to what else is out there, it’s a no brainer to join EBH.”
Two major features were recently launched by EBH. The offer submission system allows members to receive offers from buyer’s agents directly into the offer management section of their account directly from the MLS, eliminating the need for e-mail and fax offers. The second additional feature now available through EBH allows list agents of vacant properties to provide buyer’s agents with lock box combinations through a link placed in MLS and access a log of all agents that have showed the property along with the time of the showing.
Expected to be released in December, the broker view feature will give brokers the ability to manage productivity, sales statistics, and commissions of agents in their office who are members of EBH. Brokers will be able to share unlimited documents with other agents and have access to a bulletin board for office announcements.
