PHH Mortgage Names New SVP of Fulfillment Operations

PHH Mortgage Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of PHH Corporation headquartered in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, has named William J. Steinmetz SVP of fulfillment operations.

Steinmetz will manage all aspects of loan processing, underwriting operations, and loan closing activities.

Prior to joining PHH, Steinmetz held a number of senior-level positions, including managing all retail loan operations as SVP of operations at Aurora Bank in St. Louis, Missouri. He also enjoyed a 20-year career with JP Morgan Chase and began his career at New York Guardian Mortgage. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of New York at Stony Brook.

“Over the course of his career, Bill has demonstrated an exceptional ability to improve processes, lower costs, and grow both revenues and profits,” said Luke Hayden, president of PHH. “His operations management experience will be invaluable to us—particularly as we expand our wholesale and correspondent lending channel and add new private label clients.”

PHH Mortgage Corporation is a private label outsourcing company that provides mortgage solutions for financial institutions, real estate brokers, and government agencies. The company provides full-service capabilities for originating, processing, closing, and servicing mortgage loans.
