Potestivo & Associates Gives Back To American Cancer Society

The mortgage default law firm of Potestivo & Associates P.C., based in Rochester Hills, Michigan, announced last week that the firm exceeded its fund-raising goal for the American Cancer Society’s signature event, Relay for Life.
Beginning in April 2009, Potestivo & Associates set a goal to raise $5,000 to help with cancer research. With company-wide participation through creative fund-raising activities and the relay event at Hart Middle School in Rochester Hills, the final tally of the firm’s contribution was $10,552.68 – doubling the group’s record fund-raising efforts reached the previous year.

Brian Potestivo, founder and president of Potestivo & Associates, commented, “We are very proud to sponsor our local communities and the charities that are important to the firm’s employees. It is especially rewarding that despite current economic conditions, our employees dedicated their time, energy, and creativity to more than double the contributions from last year.”
The firm experienced office-wide support for the program, with many departments raising money in original ways, including evening activities like bowling and euchre tournaments, and internal promotions such as potlucks, weekly 50/50 raffles, and used book sales.
For almost twenty years, Potestivo & Associates, P.C. has provided legal services to the mortgage banking and default servicing industries. With its headquarters in Rochester Hills, the firm also maintains full-service operations in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Chicago, Illinois. Potestivo & Associates is an AV-rated firm supported by over 100 team members, handling all aspects of default servicing, including foreclosures, bankruptcies, landlord and tenant issues, title resolution, loss mitigation and home retention, REO disposition, and litigation.
