Potestivo & Associates, P.C., a provider of legal services to the default industry, announced on Monday that Keith H. Werwas has joined the firm as a new associate attorney.
Werwas will be working out of the firm’s Chicago office, practicing in the areas of foreclosure, bankruptcy, landlord and tenant matters, title resolution, loss mitigation, and REO disposition.

Prior to joining Potestivo & Associates, Werwas served as a senior managing litigation associate with a prominent Chicago firm. He was responsible for three mortgage/real estate clients, handling cases through all stages of litigation, including trials and post-judgment proceedings. He was also involved in the creation and implementation of firm-wide operational standards, client relation services, and compliance department procedures.
Werwas is a graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Law and admitted to the Illinois State Bar and the U. S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Prior to law school, Keith Werwas attended Ball State University, graduating cum laude. During his undergraduate program, he was on the dean’s list and served as president of the Golden Key International Honor Society.
