Prism Title and Closing Services Expands to Florida

Prism Title and Closing Services has expanded its services to include Florida, adding a sixth state to its service area, which also includes Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, and Minnesota.

“We had several of our bank clients contact us to say that due to the marked increase in REO properties in Florida, their current vendors were having difficulty keeping up

with the volume,” Jane Schulte, COO of Prism, explained. “So we went to work to perform research and development on the state’s nuances and requirements in order to fill this need.”

The states that Prism services, particularly Florida, Ohio, and Michigan, are among the highest foreclosure states in the country. Prism said it will continue its growth into additional states as clients’ needs dictate.

“We go where our clients need us as long as we are sure we can provide them with the same great service they are used to,” Schulte added.

Formed in 2002 as an investment firm, Prism expanded into title and closing services in 2005 and focuses on REO properties.

“We have worked very hard to fine-tune our processes to ensure that we understand how to perform in every county of each state so that we maintain the integrity of our mission of accountability,” said Angi Schuerman, Prism’s client relationship manager.
