Mark Schultz has been named the new managing director for Reliable Defeasance, a full-service capital markets advisor dedicated to the CMBS market.

Reliable, a Los Angeles-based real estate company, validates market pricing on clients’ transactions using proprietary financial systems and has handled more than $500 million in more than 50 transactions.
“This is an exciting chapter of my career and I am happy to be joining Reliable Defeasance,” said Schultz. “With so much commercial paper changing hands and so many new players added to the CMBS market in the last several years, Reliable is uniquely set-up to be a leader in this category.”
Schultz’s 20-year real estate background includes being the former chief financial officer and financial director of Hopkins Real Estate Group, vice president and senior originator with Deutsche Band Berkshire Mortgage, vice president of GE Capital and has spent five years with Citicorp Real Estate Group as a loan originator.
