Desirée Patno Enterprises, Inc., a women-owned REO brokerage based out of Irvine, California, announced late last month the integration of a new department designed to provide assistance to homeowners in default at no cost.

Coinciding with the complete renovation of the company’s Web site, Desirée Patno Enterprises is offering free information regarding loan modifications and short sales both in-office and online. The company says this initiative is designed to better educate homeowners on both the realities and the ever-changing rules of the industry.

“We hope that by offering our free services, in addition to making available a portal of Congress-backed federal agencies, we can assist more families in providing alternative solutions to losing their homes,” said company broker/owner Desirée Patno. “Our office is prepared to provide informational assistance to homeowners who are dealing with a variety of financial setbacks with finding the information that they need.”

Patno hopes that her program will help homeowners salvage their homes or their credit when faced with foreclosure. Featuring assistance in seven languages, Desirée Patno Enterprises anticipates providing assistance to a significant number of homeowners who are unaware of free distressed property services available to them.

“A large percentage of homeowners do not pursue the intervention programs available to them,” Patno explained. “We want to improve that statistic.”

Operating under the phrase, “Helping homeowners towards neighborhood stabilization,” Patno says that her company’s new program will help bring strength to regions strongly affected by foreclosure.
