Service 1st Provides Commercial BPOs

Due to an overwhelming need in the marketplace, Service 1st Valuation and Settlement Services, an appraisal management company based in Pittsburgh, has added commercial broker price opinions (BPOs) to its list of services.

In an announcement Monday, the company said it has been providing commercial BPOs to a select list of current valuation clients for several months and received an extremely positive response. As a result, it is now offering this service on a nationwide level.

Mark Oliver, CEO and president of Service 1st said the company hopes to mirror its residential success in the commercial space. Because residential and commercial markets are so different, the company wasn’t sure one model would work well for both, but according to Oliver, the Service 1st model does.

The company feels its entrance into the commercial real estate market will help current clients by providing one source for both residential and commercial service needs.

“Service 1st is committed to providing superior customer service to its clients, and we feel that it is essential to expanded our successful residential model to the commercial real estate market,” said Justin T. Gontarek, SVP of sales for Service 1st. “We feel this will bring new business partnership opportunities and strengthen our relationships with current clients.”
