Los Angeles-based short sale Web site, Shortsense.com has announced the expansion of their Web site to include new language translation capabilities in an effort to appeal
to a wider base of international investors seeking deals on luxury homes. Users are now able to view the site in English, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, French, and German.
Shortsense.com provides listing information on both pending and pre-approved short sale properties available throughout the greater Los Angeles area. The company says the site’s new enhancements will enable international homebuyers looking for deeply discounted luxury homes to access one, user-friendly Web site that can be translated into their own language.
TJ Culbertson, CEO of Shortsense, Inc., said, “The majority of international buyers are cash buyers, which can be a significant advantage when negotiating with a bank in a short sale situation. We set out from the beginning to target international buyers with our marketing efforts, so adding the translation capabilities is just another enhancement to our site that we think will help interested buyers become serious buyers.”
Culbertson added, “As we grow, our international marketing efforts will continue to be a significant part of our budget, but it’s an investment that we strongly believe will pay huge dividends down the road.”
Shortsense.com users are able to search both pending and pre-approved short sale properties by either entering a city, zip code, or MLS number, or by dragging and dropping different elements on their Web page and interacting with the map search feature. Each individual property, whether on the map or listed in the search results section, can be clicked on to instantly switch the program from the map tab to a full-featured property details tab. On it, the user will find all of the information about that property as well as a contact form, a mortgage calculator, a Google Street View of the property, a Zillow Zestimate, a Walk Score ranking, as well as school and community information.
SHORTsense, Inc. is a division of Zara Capital, LLC, a privately held real estate advisory firm focused on providing human resources, operational support, and capital to early-stage companies involved in real estate services.
