South & Associates Expands to Nebraska

South & Associates, P.C. has opened a full-service office in Omaha, Nebraska. The new office is fully operational and processing defaulted loans throughout the entire state.
Commenting on the firm’s expansion, Alan South, founder and managing partner of South & Associates, said, “The transition to Nebraska was a logical business decision as the underlying infrastructure of the firm is 100 percent scalable and expandable to accommodate other jurisdictions and legal processes.”

For the past couple of years, the firm’s Nebraska licensed associate attorneys have represented a small group of clients in the state, but the firm decided to expand this part of their operation, open an office in Omaha, and offer Nebraska representation to all servicers. The expansion will be fully supported by the firm’s main office in Overland Park, Kansas, and share the same database and imaging platform as their Wichita, Kansas, and St. Louis, Missouri, offices.
Edward Brink, a graduate from the University of Nebraska School of Law and a licensed real estate broker, is the managing attorney of South & Associates’ new office. Brink, who has practiced law for over 18 years and has extensive real estate experience, says that he is looking forward to meeting all of the firm’s clients and “exceeding their expectations.”
South & Associates, a protector of creditors’ rights in Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska, is a member of USFN-America’s Mortgage Banking Attorneys, American Legal and Financial Network (AFN), and the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). Providing professional and legal services to the mortgage industry since 1973, the firm currently has 29 attorneys and four regional offices.
