South & Associates Adds a Firm Shareholder

Overland Park, Kansas-based South & Associates, P.C., recently promoted attorney Mark Mellor to firm shareholder, joining the ranks of Alan South, Mike Zevitz, Doug Hick, Steve Crouch, Dan West, Nancy Wilson, and Mike Gaughan.

Mellor has been with South & Associates for five years, and has been practicing creditors’ rights law for over 30 years. He is the supervising attorney of the firm’s Wichita, Kansas office, which currently has three attorneys and 12 legal aids who focus on clients’ foreclosure and bankruptcy needs in the Central and Western regions of the state.

Alan South, the firm’s president, commented, “Mark is very deserving of the honor, and his promotion solidifies the firm’s local presence in Wichita.”

The Wichita office, like all three of the firm’s regional offices throughout Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska, is fully connected and supported by the corporate office in Overland Park, through state of the art technological advances and a paperless casefile management system, South & Associates said.
