The Alabama law firm Sirote & Permutt, P.C. raised more than $7,500 in support of the 17th Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and was recognized as bringing together the largest team among corporate sponsors. In addition to auctioning hand-made quilts and holding bake sales to raise money, members of the Sirote team participated in the 5k that was held on October 11th in Birmingham’s Linn Park. The money raised will go towards breast cancer research and education.
“Team Sirote rallied to become on of the top-tier donators to the Komen Foundation,” said Kerry P. McInerney, a Sirote shareholder and member of the board of directors of the Alabama affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. “I believe that, together, we can make a significant difference of the lives of so many women and their families who are battling cancer.”
