Richard Gottlieb and Donald Lampe were recognized for their work in the field of financial services regulation. Chambers is a research organization headquartered in London that ranks leading law firms and lawyers in various practice areas on a national and global scale.
Lampe, leader of Dykema’s financial services regulatory and compliance team, was honored by Chambers for a third year. He was recognized nationally for his work in financial services regulation related to consumer finance compliance. For North Carolina, he was regarded in the area of banking and finance.
The Chambers USA editorial described Lampe as “a talented attorney who ‘really gets into the fight on issues.’” For the North Carolina editorial, Chambers said Lampe “is highly regarded for his skillful handling of complex financial transactions together with regulatory matters,” according to a release.
Lampe earned his Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law.
Gottlieb serves as the director of Dykema’s financial industry group. He counsels and defends financial institutions, retailers, and insurers on a variety of matters, including fair lending and mortgage servicing. He received recognition once again for his expertise in financial services regulation for consumer finance litigation.
According to a release, Chambers USA said he “is applauded for his knowledge and problem-solving abilities. Gottlieb has particular expertise in consumer finance matters and is described as ‘incredibly client-focused.’”
Gottlieb joined Dykema in 1999 and earned his Juris Doctor from State University of New York at Buffalo.
