Two New Executives Join Prommis Solutions

Atlanta-based Prommis Solutions, LLC, a national provider of default processing services, recently appointed two new executives to its team, according to a recent announcement by the company. Tina Jones has been named VP of bankruptcy, and Michael Blair has joined the company as SVP of operations, East Coast division.

In her new role as VP of bankruptcy at Prommis Solutions, Jones will be responsible for the vision, strategy, planning, and management of the company’s East Coast Bankruptcy division. She will coordinate all of the non-legal support services for business partner law firms, McCalla Raymer and Johnson & Freedman bankruptcy operations, and she will lead both direct source and full service units for the firms, including support of McCalla Raymer’s national POC unit.

Bringing managerial experience in foreclosure and bankruptcy to the team, Jones comes to Prommis Solutions from her role as foreclosure manager for Suntrust Mortgage, Inc. While with Suntrust, she was responsible for managing a national portfolio of more than 40,000 foreclosures, including first legal action, publications, title, and foreclosure sale. In addition, Jones directed 38 employees and implemented a complete training manual to educate new hires about the company’s corporate structure, and she was able to minimize losses to investors and prevent costly penalties to the bank by upholding investors and state guidelines.

Jones also served as director of foreclosure and bankruptcy for Greenpoint Mortgage, a division of Capital One financial group. While with Greenpoint, she managed a national portfolio with over 9,500 foreclosures and 5,000 bankruptcies in areas of default demand, referral, post foreclosure, and redemptions.

Blair joins Prommis Solutions as SVP of operations, East Coast division. He will be responsible for ensuring that Prommis Solutions offers the highest level of service and products to efficiently meet the needs of its clients and its business partners McCalla Raymer; Johnson & Freedman; and Morris, Hardwick & Schneider. In addition, he will support Prommis Solutions’ national loss mitigation division.

Prior to joining Prommis Solutions, Blair was COO of servicing and client relations at Franklin Credit Holding Corporation, a specialty consumer finance company. While there, he supervised default managing, loan boarding, and risk managing services. He also developed a quality control unit to oversee daily functions in servicing and established an extensive servicing training program to ensure that financial activities comply with regulatory, investor, and internal requirements. Other industry positions held by Blair include SVP of Key Bank and VP of North American Mortgage.

Blair’s extensive background in loss mitigation and loan default management has been marked by industry recognition. He achieved a national default servicer rating from Fannie Mae in 2001, and he received the top loss mitigation servicer award from Fannie Mae in 1999, 2000, and 2001.

“Michael is a proven leader in default services and is a results oriented professional,” said Denis Brosnan, CEO of Prommis Solutions. “We are pleased to have him join our team, and we are confident that Michael’s leadership will further strengthen the East Coast division.”
