Mortgage servicing veteran Larry B. Litton, Sr. has been awarded the inaugural Distinguished Service Award from USFN

— a nonprofit association of professionals that provide various default services to the mortgage lending industry.
Larry Litton, who is president and founder of Litton Loan Servicing, was selected because of his many contributions to the industry—especially in terms of education.
In a press statement announcing Mr. Litton’s award, representatives said, “Mr. Litton was presented with the inaugural award in recognition for his contributions to the industry his vision and role in developing USFN’s first formal educational seminar which was held in Houston in 1995. Until that time, the servicing industry did not have a single conference or educational event that was devoted exclusively to default, bankruptcy, loss mitigation, and other servicing topics.”
Litton received his award while attending the National Servicing Seminar & Technology Forum in Houston, Texas.
