WFG Promotes New VP of National Agency Underwriting Counsel

WFG National Title Insurance Company announced Monday the promotion of A. Roger Blauvelt to VP of its National Agency Underwriting Counsel.

Blauvelt possesses more than 30 years of experience in the title and mortgage industry. Before coming to WFG National Title in 2011, he worked as counsel for special issues for FDIC. He served 24 years with one of the nation’s largest title underwriters, including a role as SVP of Northeast and Southeast Regional Counsel. He also served as president of the New Jersey Land Title Association in 1987 and 1988. In his new role at WFG National Title, he will serve as an underwriting and legal resource for the company’s national title agencies.

“Roger is one of the most highly-regarded title insurance attorneys in the industry,” said Joseph Drum, Esq., executive VP with WFG National Title. “His experience, competence, knowledge, and skill set make him yet another excellent resource in WFG’s continuing efforts to support and collaborate with their independent agency partners. We look forward to Roger helping our agents.”

WFG National Title Insurance Company, a member of the Williston Financial Group, is a national provider of premium title insurance and settlement services to the real estate and mortgage industry. Its corporate office is based in Portland, Oregon.
