Wilson & Associates Announces Three New Partners

Wilson & Associates, P.L.L.C., which provides clients in Tennessee and Arkansas with bundled real estate default legal services, recently announced the naming of three new partners to the firm: Kimberly D. Burnette, Joel W. Giddens, and J. Skipper Ray.

Burnette is the supervising attorney of the bankruptcy litigation department in the firm’s Little Rock, Arkansas office. She joined Wilson & Associates in April 2000. Burnette was awarded her J.D. degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. She is admitted to the Bar of the State of Arkansas, the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, and Western District of Tennessee, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

Burnette is the immediate past-president of the Debtor-Creditor Bar of Central Arkansas, Inc., and the secretary of the Arkansas Association of Women Lawyers. She is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association and the Pulaski County Bar Association. Her area of practice is mortgage banking with a focus on bankruptcy law.

Giddens, a native of Shreveport, Louisiana, was admitted to practice in Tennessee in 1994. He received his education from Rhodes College (B.A., 1986) and the University of Memphis (M.A., 1991; J.D., 1994).

Giddens is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Memphis Bar Association. He is the current chair of the bankruptcy section of the Memphis Bar Association. Giddens is the local bankruptcy attorney for Wilson & Associates in Memphis, Tennessee.

Ray is the supervising attorney for the firm’s closing commitment and curative, title policy, and eviction departments. A native of North Little Rock, Arkansas, he received his J.D. from the William H. Bowen School of Law in 2000, and was admitted to the Bar of the State of Arkansas in 2001. Ray is also licensed to practice law in the state of Tennessee.

Ray is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and the Pulaski County Bar Association. He has served as a USFN default servicing seminar panelist and has authored articles appearing in the USFN Report and other publications. His areas of practice are foreclosure, eviction, and title law.
