CoreLogic Appoints SVP of Government and Industry Relations

Stuart Pratt

CoreLogic, a provider of global property information, analytics, and data-enabled solutions headquartered in Irvine, California, has appointed Stuart Pratt as SVP of Government and Industry Relations, according to an announcement from the company.

In his new role with CoreLogic, Pratt will oversee engagement with the White House, Congress, state legislatures, and other policymakers in addition to think tanks, consumer advocacy groups, and trade associations. Pratt will work with senior leaders and key policymakers on important policy and reputational issues that CoreLogic and its clients face.

“Stuart’s considerable public policy leadership experience, as well as knowledge of data used for risk and identity management serve as the foundation for his understanding of the industries which we serve,” said Anand Nallathambi, president and CEO of CoreLogic. “His long-standing commitment to regulatory issues surrounding consumer protection laws will help CoreLogic to further develop key relationships in government and strengthen our ability to successfully meet the needs our clients. We are delighted to welcome him to this new leadership role.”

Before joining CoreLogic, Pratt worked for the Consumer Data Industry Association (CDIA) for three decades, most recently as president and CEO. During his lengthy tenure with the CDIA, Pratt was recognized as a champion for the consumer credit industry. He has regularly served on U.S. presidential and gubernatorial task forces on policy matters touching all facets of credit and related information flows.

Additionally, Pratt has counseled private and government entities overseas on responsible uses of consumer data and has advised the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding European U.S. trade negotiation. Currently, Pratt serves as the U.S. representative to an international committee focused on credit reporting in developing economies sponsored by the World Bank and International Finance Corporation. He also serves as chair of an Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation subcommittee focused on facilitating trans-border data flows.
